Breakfast club

Breakfast Club normally meets for breakfast at 9.30am on the 3rd Sunday of the month in Powell House, next to the church. A continental style breakfast is served. We go into church for the first twenty minutes of the service, then move through to the halls for a variety of activities on a particular theme. We look at different people, stories and events in the Bible, to see what we can learn from them. Contact Colin Brittain on



PilotsWe have Pilots at our church! Pilots is a non-uniformed Christian organisation for children and young people. Deckhands and Adventurers (School Reception to Year 6) Friday 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm including worship at 6.45 pm. We make friends, play games, do craftwork, eat tuck, and join in worship – with some zany action songs. Contact the Revd Darryl Sinclair to find more about Hassocks Pilots. The Baby Station

For babies up to 18 months, meets on Friday mornings from 10am to 12 noon in the church hall. It includes singing and is a great opportunity to meet other mums, dads and carers in a friendly atmosphere. £1.50 includes hot drink and cakes. For more information contact the Revd Darryl Sinclair



For babies and toddlers 0 to 3 years, meets each Wednesday morning from 9.30am to 11.15am in the halls at the rear of the church. Enter through the front door of the church.  All are welcome – parents, grandparents and childminders – to join us for craft, playtime, singing, a chat and a cuppa! Safeguarding of Children and Adults

Safeguarding is taken seriously by everyone at Hassocks United Reformed Church. We organise our activities in such a way as to promote a safe environment and minimise the risk of harm to children and adults.
